LIONS was established in 1917 to empower volunteers to serve their communities. Lions are area leaders who enhance their communities by building partnerships to plan local projects that build, repair, support and share--making a difference and having fun along the way!
THE PEABODY LIONS, chartered in 1945
Provides: Vision Screenings and equipment, Assistive Technology, Scholarship Awards, Recycling, Eyeglasses, and Disaster Relief;
Supports: Youth Sports & Programs, Local Food Pantry’s, Accessible services and activities for children, adults & Seniors; AND
Promotes: Vision Awareness/Eye Research, Peabody Sensory Braille Trail, and Community Service Projects.
